Adam Rake grew up at the south New Jersey shore and spent his college years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has lived and worked in Iowa City, IA since June of 2004. In June of 2005 he began working as the assistant and printer for Tomas Lasansky at the Lasansky Gallery and Studio and continues this presently. Currently Adam works out of his downtown Iowa City Studio, exhibiting his prints and drawings at the Lasansky Gallery and Studio and the Iowa City downtown Java House, and has begun submitting his work to various juried exhibitions.
